I want to paint my daughter's room, what color should I paint it?
Answers:
You should really be asking her. She's the one who is going to be spending time in it more than me or you. But if she's seven I wouldn't put too much pink or purple even though she likes it now because she will grow out of it. I would paint it blue with some pink and purple easily removable accents. Blue is a color that she probably kinda already likes now and she will like through middle school or at least elementary. But remember if you are willing to repaint ina couple of years go ahead and paint it purple or pink and be ready in a few years for her to be begging to to take it off...

Did you ask her? Pink and Purple are the usual girly colours.

Go with hot pink or a really bright purple. I know the hot pink sounds like it would look gross, but a friend has painted her daughters room in that colour and it looks fantastic
Her favorite color.
Ask HER! If her choice is outrageous, make a compromise, but the fact that she has some real input makes it special and boosts her self-image.
best thing to do is ask her if it is her room she would know best just dont do very dark colors like black only on an ccent wall that is a rule of thumb
Ask your daughter. I also think it would be great if you get her involved in the painting. It will give her something to be proud of - her own project.
her favorite color or blue and purple.
Let her help choose. That will make it extra special. Pastels usually are best. Soft pinks, lavenders, buttercream yellow and so on.
What color does she like? If its too out there then paint it a nice color you like.

Well since shes 7 years old make the colors bright colors to make the room look cheerful. If shes girly do pinks, purples, and yellows. If shes not really girly then do lime greens and blues.
Creamy yellow makes you feel good. Decorate with white curtains, red and yellow stuff, some black/white combos for bedding. Make it peppy for now, and as she grows you can take away or add new things (like exchange red for maroon).
my friend has rainbows on her walls and she outgrew it in a year. Maybe a pale yellow with a cool border. Or if worse comes to worse... a simple blue.
She should pick the color. She needs to learn how to make decisions on her own.
