victorian colours be mostly pale green and blue and pink next to lots of white victorian patterns.
i infer any of the ones that have a thoughtful rustic look to them as like a dark color look like smoked burgundy brownish redish somthing approaching that
I would think something like going with a chrome or brushed pewter finish for your tap. The gold might be a bit much for the look. Victorian colors WERE usually on the darker/richer side but since you enjoy a big window and lots of muted...I'd like the pink and cream too. What roughly a few accents beside a really dark shade of green to go together the light colors and maintain the Victorian feel? Perhaps menacing hand towels...if you sew at adjectives, get a bit of cream lace and sew onto the ends of your handtowels. Victoriana is adjectives about trappings and decorative items. Find antediluvian calendars or magazine, tear out some pictures you close to and put into secondhand frames and group those on a wall. I would definitely use white tiles no business your color choice since they are the most expensive part of the decor. With white, you can other change your paint color for not much money in need the tiles having to be replaced.
