My house is brown brick with brown roof. What color should I paint the house.?
Answers:
paint it white and use burgandy shutters around all windows. also, buy a beautiful white oval glass door or a side light door. you can also put shutters around the doors. if your garage is the same colors as the house, paint it the same colors as you do the house(white) and also put burgandy shutters around all doors and windows. you can buy paint that will last years ands years if you go to sherwin williams or any other good paint store and tell them you are painting brick.

If it's natural brick, don't paint it.
You'll be painting it for the rest of your life.
Now the trim... Can't go wrong with white.
stay with an earth tone..
If you're talking about painting the siding, do a soft yellow...
If you're talking about painting the brick, don't do it! Just paint the trim a nice neutral cream or tan to bring out the brick.
any light, neutral color is classic and classy
Dont paint the brick, youll have more problems down the line. But you can paint all the rest of the trim and shutters to get a more appealing house. Go to any paint store and if your bad with colors they will have samples for you that shows what colors go with what. If the brick has allready been painted, then you need more work . It can be pressure washed or in severe cases even sand blasted to get back to the beauty underneath. A little tuck pointing to restore the mortor and should look like new.

eggplant and brown go really well together
don't paint your bricks!! pressure wash them, and trim in a cream color.
Our home is a tan/light brown brick with a weathered wood roof (brown) and I painted out house a cream and a taupe color with accents that are....I don't want to say mauve b/c that sounds gross...the color is Blackberry Frost from ICI Paint. The shutters, two small stripes on the turned posts and the doors are the Blackberry Frost. Everything else is the cream and taupe, and it looks so good! The garage door we did in the cream color because it is lighter and brighter. You could (if you have the time) trim out the raised panels on your garage door with the other two accent colors....but it will be a lot of work!
