What you really need to think about is what the room will be used for and then use that for insparation. IE... it will be a guest room so turn the room in to a great B&B style room, find a homey looking bed spread, some good end tables and don't forget the wall touches...but remember that a good B&B room doesn't have any personal touches, but it still feels homey.
