Where can I get glass cut to cover furniture surfaces for a reasonable price?
Answers:
I go where they do windshields - they have lots of other glass there. My place is in the back of a tire store. You could ask your local insurance office where the windshield places are, or look in the yellow pages.
Other answers:
um....at a glass shop?
seriously.
Any local glass shop. And you should pay the extra money and get tempered glass that has polished edges (no cuts that way).
You do not, repeat, do not want a "thin sheet" of untempered glass. It will break.
Did I mention, it will break?

Your helpful Ace Hardware store. (HDepot doesn't cut glass anymore.)
A regular, old fashioned glass shop (they're listed in the yellow pages). They have different thicknesses of glass and can polish the edges, so nobody gets cut.
