Feng Shui Center of the Home or Center of A Room?
I have a interview about Feng Shui that may nouns a little stupid, but I cannot find an answer online for the time of me. When trying to find the direction/corner of an element within your home are you looking only at the actual charming direction? Please take a look at this chart, http://www.drstandley.com/images/fengShu... . Now is this chart "per room" so to speak or speaks for the unbroken house?
Say you have a one bedroom apartment. The entry is at the north, to the east is the bathrom, to the west is the kitchen and to the south is the bedroom. Standing within the bedroom would you still apply all 5 of the elements contained by each direction of the bedroom OR would you simply apply the "bedroom feng shui" plus the corresponding directions such as South, Southeast and Southwest that were originally taken from the center of the house?
Does that generate sense? I think I a short time ago made myself so much more confused!

Answers: First rotten, I am not a big fan of Black Hat Tantric Feng Shui. This is because it simplifies the concept of Feng Shui too much. It be developed only surrounded by the 1980's and was developed by Professor Lin Yun contained by Northern California. Because it has not be around that long, it is hard to corroborate its effectiveness.
In true Feng Shui form, one ALWAYS wishes to use a Feng Shui compass. This is because the compass can tell us what type of chi occupy a space. It involves calculations base on the house facing direction and year it was built. A Flying Star chart is created to enlighten us what type of chi makes up the house. This is the most decisive and accurate method used to access a home's Feng Shui.
To answer your question, you can apply the Ba Gua map over the entire house or newly a single room of the house. Most practitioners would first superimpose the entire Ba Gua map over the entire property first. Then, they would apply it over certain rooms of the house.
For example, tolerate say you apply the Ba Gua map over your entire house and see that your job area is missing. Well, you can not motivate a missing area. However, if you apply the Ba Gua map over newly the living room, then you can generate the corner associated with the craft sector.
What you need to do is see which nouns you want to activate and stability out. Then if you can not activate the nouns when using the Ba Gua map over the entire property, you can apply the Ba Gua map over just one room, the living room is a devout room to do so. When you use the bagua to find the different sections of the room (wealth, occupation, family, etc) you align the chart so that the door of that home or room is at the bottom of the chart. What I own seen is that you can own a room in the job section of the house, but contained by that room you have another bagua beside all 9 areas represented in that as well.
So if you enjoy your desk in your work located room, and in the trade corner of that room...you are supposed to set the tone for a great career. Then follow the placement suggestion as far as which path the desk sits in the room (you want it contained by a power position where you can see the door as you are seated at the desk. You also don't want the desk to be surrounded by the immediate way as you walk surrounded by, nor do you want it to catch heartiness flowing in short a break. This would promote unease when you are seated there because it would be resembling parking on the on-ramp in jargon of chi. Tension, distraction, overwhelm if you are too close to the door.
