How to stop damp of walls during raining season? What shud be used to stop moisturing/wetning of paint?

As rain comes, the walls of my house instigate to be wet. How to stop the damp of walls? Any special paint or any other substance to be applied to reduce the moisturing the walls/paint?


Answers:    I suspect that you live contained by a brick house with no cavity.
Quick solution would be to enjoy the exterior painted with a colourless silicone solution. ( Follow the guidelines )
Second approach is to enjoy the walls on the inside battened-out, plasterboarded, ( dry-lined ) and skimmed..
Third approach is to have the plaster removed from the inside exterior walls, later painted with rubber-rich bitumen paint, consequently sanded and finally skimmed near fine sand & cement render.
Not enough info here really. 1) Outside may necessitate a sealer applied, 2) May need a vapor bearrier( rolled plastic usually) against outside wall. and or bringing up the rear the interior wall.
3) may have a roof issue.
