What are some good ideas for a teen girl's room?

Well I'm remodeling my room with very bright and colorful and me and my mom just spend near $200 but not more than that. We painted the room like a light green because it was been pink a long time. I bought some bed sets at Delia's and they were under $40 the whole set, and also I got a pink round furred chair at Wall- Mart for only $35. So its about imagine it and looking for good prices which there are.

Bean bags are the ultimate in cool, for hanging and talking on the phone. Also, even "cool" girls always love canpies, which you can buy in mosquito netting in limitedtoo, and probably most teen stores.
Also, if you have a good photograph, make a really large enlargement for the wall.

Find "something" that she likes with all the colors you want to use. Say a painted ceramic piece, a piece of wallpaper, or a dish or a piece of art that has the basic colors you want. That way, you already know what coordinated with the colors. I don't think pink is great for teen girls; but, I'm sure she would probably love lavender! You could go with lavender and throw in some funky 60's type furniture painted purple and use something very neutral on the floor. Let her spruce it up with posters. Go to thrift stores for great prices and finds. Get her interested and I'm sure it will work out well on a small budget. Good Luck!
