You can get some really high quality ones at Target, believe it or not. Very nice ones and inexpensive. Also try Crate and Barrel, Pier 1, and Macy's.
Honestly you should find what you like and look on Ebay. If it is a respected dealer you will find the same High Quality which is what you're looking for and you'll save alot of green. The question wasn't where should I spend alot on Flaware. There is some very high quality stuff there and expect to pay good money for it but you will be saving vs retail.
I got mine through JCPenney Home Store. I've also seen really nice ones at Dillards and Pottery Barn.
