What shade of maple cabinet should I use for kitchen? I hold maple laminate flooring.?

Should floor be darker or lighter than cabinet?

Answers:    Generally speaking, your floor should be darker. Maple cabinet with maple floor? Hmm. That's alot of maple contained by my opinion. Have you thought something like anything else for your cabinets? Sometimes its better to introduce assorted materials into the scheme.
if the room is big satisfactory i would go a dark cabinet but not too dark approaching a medium
What color is your floor ? If you are going street light on the cabinets-dark on the floor. Visa-versa if the floor light.
One of my clients and I be just chitchat about this. I am a kitchen designer and maple is one of the most popular types of cabinet we sell :) I feel it's important to try and choose a wood that is to say similar to your floor, but not too similar. If the colors are really REALLY close but not exact, it'll look like you tried to contest and failed. It is okay to own the floor be slightly darker or slightly lighter than the cabinet. If your floors look like unprocessed maple (very light and yellowish), a pale maple cabinet with a slightly warm-redish tint looks nice. Just a couple shades dark than natural. Usually Maple cabinet aren't stained too dark anyway; the dark maple gets, the splotchier it get.

If your floor was a completely different things, like tile, you could move about for as much contrast as you want. But when mixing wood cabinets near wood floors, it is currently most fashionable for them to blend as dead set against contrast. And like I said formerly, blending doesn't necessarily mean congruent! It is kind of similar to when you pick up a swatch of paint colors in a hardware store. Each paint taster strip will have 4 to 6 colors on it. All are similar, but the top ones are lighter and the bottom ones are dark. They would all compliment respectively other, though, because they are from the same color and tone familial. Think of complimenary wood colors the same road.

The display I sit at at work has red oak floor beside a light maple cabinet. The street light maple has a healthy-looking tint ot it. Even though the wood types are different, they both have that glowing hue that make them compliment respectively other. Keep that in mind when picking your cabinet. How much contrast you want in your kitchen is completely nouns. Even if your floors and cabinets are street lamp and similar to each other, if you want contrast, bring a striking darker countertop :) It looks exquisite.

Sorry to ramble, hope it helps! I preference I could have you to my showroom so I could show you what I be a sign of.

Most importantly, follow your gutt instinct :)
