Is it possible to sand down wood cabinet doors...?

that have a coat of polyurethane, wood putty, collective compound and paint on them ( in that order) already?

Now that we painted them they own a bubbly texture so I would like to know if they can be sand down to the original wood and after painted.

What would be the right process to get a smooth texture?

Thanks

Answers:    yes , sand very well starting with course, afterwards fine sand paper. use a tack cloth past priming and painting. i HIGHLY recommend spraying the primer and paint on to seize the best finish. if you must roll it, us a high element roller made for SMOOTH surfaces, and use a conditioner in your paint for self leveling purposes.
moral luck :)
You can buy a solvent that takes the paint and polyurethane sour down to the natural wood and after take fine sand broadsheet once the doors have dried. Then proceed to paint the doors.
