For those who own gone through a remodel; predominantly more or less doors?

Note: we are going to Lowes, Home Depot, etc to research options and pricing tomorrow, but I required some opinions in a minute.

We’re doing a total revamp of our doors, meaning we enjoy 3 to replace:

1) Out through the basement (will be steel)
2) Sliding chalice door
3) Double Entry doors + double entry storm doors

I know at Lowes that the pro installation is $250/door (on average). Does anyone have any experience beside pricing? How much approximately are we looking at? $1500? $2000? (Not including installation or tax, of course).

We live within the KC area, if that help.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Answers:    It really adjectives depends on the doors you choose.
All the doors you have timetabled would most likely be special advice.
I just installed a double entry surrounded by Leawood for some folks, the door alone cost $2,000.00.
My best advice would be for you to do some leg work and choose the doors you close to,give the model numbers to your contractor so that he /she can writ the proper sizes.
Five months ago, I just replaced an entrance steel (very tacky - not the one sold in home depot) door to vault. The cost including installation is $600 in NYC. My neighbor installed a fresh stainless Steel front entrance door, the cost including is $2,800.
