Put something solid in the bottom, clear glass rocks so that it isn't top heavy.

put something heavy in the bottom of it like coloured stones or pebbles even coloured sand would be nice to match bridesmaid dresses.

I went to a wedding that had those flat/rounded colored marbles in the bottom of the vase to give it weight. They were also nice because it covered up the stems of the flowers.
Weight the botteom of the vase with crystals or pebbles. Marbles, anything with some weight to it.
If this is the type vase I'm thinking of, the trumpet part is at the top. When we used those in our weddings, we anchored them to the table top using florist clay (very sticky). The base was then camouflaged with a bow. However, if it is the other type, I would use the colored glass pebbles (which will also help hold the flower stems in place) and for additional stability, you could still add a little of the clay to the bottom of the glass.
