How do I paint an argyle pattern on the wall using two different colors?

Yikes, can you imagine having your socks material in any larger a space than oin your foot?
I do faux finishes for a living and your task will be daunting, and no there is no "formula"
You can exact the measurment from a sock and proportionally enlarge it, then paint a base color.
You might then line the cross hatch with blue painters masking tape, or line that with chalk, and free hand the diamond patterning with a stiff brush, or feather, causing some rough effect to the lines.

Oh i heard somewhere that u can either use scotch tape and it will come out pretty neat, or you can use those liquid things.. where u put it on, and the 2 colors go on by itself.. well not literally... hope you know what im talking about
