Neither one is very comfortable to sleep on, cos they don't breathe the way natural fibers do, so you will feel either cold or hot, and if you perspire the sheets will not absorb it, so you'll be clammy or sticky. If you REALLY want that slippery effect, either choose very high thread count in cotton or linen, or buy real silk sheets. Domestications.com sells silk sheets for a relatively low price. They cost more than most sheets, but if you want that effect, they are your best option.
You really need to go by the thread count on sheets. 180 is awful..200..bareable..250..ok
300..a little better
600 great and wonderful to sleep on.
Look for Egyptian cotton.
The same goes for bath towels.
