Solid surface countertops?

looking for options on countertops looking at coian granite and others looking for plus and min on both or other quality brand names and price

I suggest a quartz surfacing. LG has a great one called Viatera. It has a 15 year warranty. It's easy to maintain. It's not porous like granite. Which means it won't collect bacteria and smells, and you don't have to refinish it over and over again. I'm going to put it in my kitchen.
