The rule of thumb is to use an uncharacteristic number of photos for the best effect.
Go buy a roll of kraft paper ( that immense brown paper used for mail packages ) . If you can't find this you can use freezer paper or the blank side of a roll of payment wrap you're not using. Lay out a peice on the floor and re-arrange your framed photos until you are happy near the arrangement. Trace them there on the weekly. Now, measure how far down the slack hook is on the back of respectively picture. Mark this in the silhouette you hold of each photo. Cute out the silhouettes.
Tape them to your wall beside painter's tape. This give you an idea of how the pics will look once on the wall. Now is the time to adjust their position, etc. Now, that spot you made for the hook, drive your nail within there, remove the dissertation and hang your pics. No more moving them up and down once they're hung or driving nail in the wrong spot or not attachment the arrangement once it's on the wall. I learned this trick on a decorate show and it might seem approaching alot of work but it really saves enthusiasm in the long run.
I also importantly recommend those Hercules Hooks. You can find them in stores presently under different name. They are great. No hammering. Just press them in the wall and swing your pics.
