I'm moving into a 1BR/1BA apartment for college this summer. How can I furnish and deck it for cheap?

I don't want to spend a ton of money because college is expensive as it is... I'm gonna be able to give somebody a lift a hand-me-down couch, bedroom dresser and TV. What about furnishing the rest of the apartment?

Also, what are some inexpensive ways to ornament?


Answers:    Usually on your first place, you have tons of family unit & friends who will be willing to contribute you stuff that they dont have room for. Just ask everyone you know, especially if they own an attic or a basement. Most inhabitants store they stuff they dont want in in attendance.
go to craigslist.org. People are other selling stuff and it's an easy approach to negotiate with populace.

Also maybe rent a center might be a choice for you. My friends used to only rent furniture for like $50 bucks a month for a living room and bedroom set) because they know in the summer they wouldn't be living at college anymore and would be going home. They didn't want the hassle of trying to numeral out what to do with their furniture during the summer.
