How do I get my blanket to stay on my couch?
Answers:
Use the stuff that you put under rugs to make them not slip or the stuff you use to line the inside of your kitchen cabinets. You can buy it in different sizes at walmart and then cut it down to the size you need.

perhaps you could safty pin the corners on the back of the couch, not sure if you want holes in either one though. Duct tape also works nicely. :)

a stapler...
Pin it to the back seem or use a stick on type of velcro for the couch ans sew the other side of the velcro to the blanket.
Velco might work
i got 2 words- nail gun!
dont fold in half and lay over the top put your couch out and drapped it over and push your couch back but most likely ever night you will still have to fix it
Leave it opened up and drape as much over the back as over the front. Otherwise you have two incompatible materials so hang the blanket on the wall to display it and settle for pillows on the couch.
Fix it with glue from the inner side.
There is a product that comes in a roll, usually merchandised with drawer/cupboard paper rolls in the aisles with the kitchen/home stuff/plastic storage (like at Target, Kmart, etc.) It is a rubbery, waffle-like material. You can cut it with scissors to fit. I would cut a strip, or several and tack it to the underside of the blanket where it rests on the top of the couch. It will prevent it from sliding. If you'd like, you could tack it to the blanket with a few small stitches with needle and thread. If you work with the weave of the blanket, the stitches should be removeable without damage to the blanket. This product also works well under small throw rugs to prevent slipping. Good Luck!
I've got the perfect solution for you that won't harm your couch or blanket! Grip Clips are excellent for that sort of thing and won't damage your couch or blanket in any way! Just use two and some cording of some kind to anchor the blanket to the back of the couch (I'd attach the cord to the legs...You'll figure it out) to keep it from falling forward.
I use my Grip Clips for my sheets, tarps, everything! They really are a Godsend....You can even paint them and the cord you plan on using to match the couch so that it isn't an eyesore...
