Smoothing over Ashpalt Sub- Floors?

If I overlay an ashpalt sub-floor in my kitchen beside 6mm plywood drilled and pluged at 300mm centres {100 x 1" screw per 8`x 4` sheeet of plywood am I creating future problems -

Will screw `pop` out due to foot traffic?
Will plywood warp and twist?
Will drilling ashalpt wreak damp problems {as ashalpt is a Damp proof membrane}

My intensions are to fit sheet vinyl cushion floor as a floorcovering over this. Incidently, selflevelling flooring compound appears to expensive and would give somebody a lift a lot to realize 6mm height.

Answers:    I am not a specialized flooring expert, but I enjoy about thirty years surrounded by commercial and residential building and remodeling. I recommend that you use at least 5/8" gelatinous decking for your sub-floor. If the screw are properly set into the floor joists or into the sub-floor deck underneath, nearby should be no problems. Your screws should completely gain access to all the style through the decking, the sub-floor and the sub-deck underneath. Be sure to use wood screw for attaching to a wood sub-deck or metal screws when fastening into a metal sub-deck. You should use an sticky stuff (Liquid Nail or similar adhesive) on the back of the plywood so that it is firmly and ineradicably bonded to the sub-floor surface when you screw it down. On the back, you can put a bead of glue all the style around the perimeter a couple of inches from the circumference and then cause an "S" shape bead through the center. It is not necessary to enjoy a solid coating of adhesive.
