there is a stained glass kit u can buy that has the stick on lead and the paint and a transfer sheet for tracing ur design on to the glass......i got mine on line and it worked very well.....did a 3' x 6' glass with a sea scape on it......

There are paints available for stained glass effect. You can find them at Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart and other stores with craft supplies. I do not know if they are removable you would have to read on the bottle. You could use colored transparent paper and make the design and use glue as your sealer that should be easy to remove.
I think that paint can be easily removed from glass with a razor blade. There is a product at home improvement stores that is basically contact paper (or window clings) for your windows. They have different patterns and colors. I got some patterned contact paper for my garage windows. It looks nice.
I know Krylon makes a temporary paint you could use for the same thing. I know Home Depot has it on their shelves.
You can get liquid stained glass paint and leading at the craft stores, like Michaels. You trace a pattern onto the glass with a sharpie marker, lead the trace lines with the leading paint which dries charcoal black in thick lines or you can simply make lines on freezer paper in various lengths, let it dry and press apply along your trace lines. Then you use the stained glass paint to fill in the lines with the colors you desire. The entire design can be lifted off of the glass with a razor blade once it is cured.
Gallery Glass, available at craft stores everywhere. You paint in your "leading" with their grey paint, and let it dry. Then you fill with the clear colors, using a circular motion. It looks VERY much like stained glass.
I've been using it for years, and the only drawback is that the pigments fade over time if in direct sunlight.
To remove it, you just scrape the glass with a putty knife.
