I painted our dining room with a shade of yellow w/ a green wallpaper at the bottom and really looks great. The Living room with a forest green; everybody likes it. Now i really don't know what color goes with it to paint the wall going upstairs...

How about a neutral, like a cream or off-white shade?
How about a pewter or grey. Something neutral.
A deep dark red or a burnt orange would add some warmth. A very pale blue would add a sense of freshness and space -- but it would be better if it wasn't too close to the yellow wall.
Warm orange or red would look pretty.
Sage green or a wheat tone.
