If I am going to repaint my studio apartment, would I do it before or after the flooring?

I will be repainting the walls, ceiling, trim and need to replace and/or paint the flooring, which order do I do these improvements in?

Answers:
ceiling, walls and your floor last

Other answers:
before, so you dont get paint on your new floor :)

i used to do painting and decorating years ago. you start from the ceiling and work your way down. do all the cutting in first and then the large area. then same with walls - cutting in first then large areas...and same with floor. hope it comes out nice!
ceiling first to avoid drips on anything finished below it.
then the walls
then the tirm
finally the floors
good luck!
obviously, it makes more sense to do the walls and ceilings first cuz u may get paint on the floor. do the ceiling first, then the walls, then the trims, then the floor.
Definetly do it before. Trusst me on this. Also keep about a quart or so left over so you can do any touch up work after you have laid your flooring.

Oh one other thing. When it comes to doing the trim work, and edges along the ceiling, tape the baseboard, use 2" blue tape and for the ceiling, just get a step stool, a disposable cup, and a 2"-3" chisel tip brush. Just take your time going along the ceiling, and forget about using a cheater edge.
Start at the top of the room and work down . That way you can cover area below as you go. Then the floor last, will save major time on clean up and worrying about , watch out below. Git er done.
Well, what I would do is first paint the whole room because if you splash paint on anything it will just be on the old flooring. Then, you replace and/ or paint the floor. * FOR THAT I WOULD REPLACE THE FLOOR WITH OAK AND/OR PLYWOOD* Finally, you should trim it and choose I suggest you choose a nice trim or you can use crowning.

before
I would paint the walls before the floor, that way if you drip you don't have to worry about it.♥
Absolutely before the flooring..work from the ceiling down. Even the best painter cannot prevent paint spills - save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress!
Do it in this order: Ceiling, walls, trim, then floor. And don't forget to protect the surfaces beneath your target areas w/ dropcloths, etc.
Before the flooring.
Definitely paint first. Then you don't have to worry about dripping any on the floor.
Save the floor for last so you don't have to worry about drop clothes so much. work from the top down. Start w/ the ceiling and then come on down. Have fun.
CEILING AND WALLS FIRST....THE REPLACE THE FLOORING
