I'm wanting to plants some flowers around my double-wide. What flowers can spice up a home in a trailer park?

Answers:
Where do you live, Crazy Billy? You might be more of a shrub man...is your double wide have underpinnings and it's covered all around? Do you have soil built up around to meet the bottom of the walls? If you're in the North West, Midwestern to Southern area--I'd say Azaleas--they are low maintenance and don't get so big. You can even trim them into a hedge --and the colors are awesome during spring through fall. Good luck.

You may want to visit a nursery to get the right colors, but vibrant, contrasting colors can bring some spice to your yard. I like hollyhocks for the back, in various colors, because they're very tall and sturdy. You might want some daisies or the faus daisy bush, euryops, to give some contrast in your textures. Depending on how much sun your yard receives will make your decision for you, but if there's some shade, you might want to get some impatiens. They grow until November and one plant can go from 2" to 3' wide by 8" tall!! Plus, they come in a HUGE variety of colors. Reds, purples, and yellows make great statements and can bring a variety of nature (butterflies, hummingbirds, etc) to your yard. Have fun!
hostas and day lillies they come up every year and are pretty all summer long
It really depends on the amount of sun and the type of soil you have.
