try a tsp of detergent and some thaw water and blot the paint, don't rub too intricate....
if you are going to use any spirits to try to remove it, use only wet soluable stuff and try in a spot specifically not in the middle of the floor....
Turps will remove your paint from your mat. Dilute it first.
