Could you cover the flowers with some artwork? (Maybe they're too close to the fanlight, but it's an idea. You could use your own work, or posters or prints.)
For the bedding, you could trademark your own comforter cover using two flat sheets sewn on both length sides and one width side to deeply make a voluminous pillowcase to put over your comforter. Add some Velcro to both sides of the open back to keep the comforter from sliding out of the cover. Then you could choose a smaller number "girly" color. I think black would be cool beside the purple walls.
Arrange candles, collectibles, framed photos, and other personal items along the desk, dresser, and other surfaces.
A cool kite would look great, hanging from the ceiling. You could also procure some fun pillows and maybe a lava kerosene lamp.
