What is the best way to remove wallpaper?

Answers:
Go to your local hardware store and ask them.No really there are several ways but steaming it off works best. Also try using a mixture of liquid fabric softner and water you wipe down the paper and it will loosen it and then using a wide spatula scrape off old paper.

Spray the wallpaper with hot water you can use a regular spray bottle to do this, wait a few seconds then start at a seam and scrape spraying with the hot water as often as needed working in small sections at a time. This is how the professional wallpaper hanger removed our old wallpaper in both of our bathrooms....you can also score the wallpaper and spray with hot vinegar water always be sure to wash the walls with TSP to remove any excess glue on the walls if you are planning on painting the walls...good luck

Hot water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Once it is soaked through use a scrapper it comes right off.
I have never had any luck removing old wall paper. I tried all the traditional methods and I always end up scraping off the drywall and ruining the wall. I guess I don't have the patience for it. The last project I had I just had them remove the walls and put up new drywall and basically new walls. I suppose it has to do with what type of paper it is and what the application is. For me some wall paper it impossible to remove. Good luck with it!
if the walls are plaster ,then use an enzyme stripper (directions on bottle). If the wall is drywall(sounds hollow) ,use a steamer.Make sure to remove all glue residue before painting
We went to Menards (you could go to Lowes or any store like this) and buy a scorer (I'm not sure the actual name for it, but it punctures a lot of tiny holes in the wall so that when you put the product on it gets behind the wallpaper. The stores sell a product that you can then put on the walls. You let the product set for at least 10 minutes (but read the directions on the back of the product to be sure) and then you can just take a scraper(metal scraper, which can be bought there also) and start scraping away. It comes up quite easily. But, you can also just use downy fabric softner if you don't want to buy the product. Just make sure that you let it set for at least 10 minutes before you start scraping. It has to have time to soak in and get to the glue.

good luck and have fun! It's not a fun job!
