How much does it usually cost to buy hardwood floor and have it professionaly installed surrounded by a 14X14 room


Answers:    Veneer typed hardwood will run $22-$28 per square foot. 14 x 14 is 196 sq ft. So figure 210 square foot for trim allowance etc. That price should include the product with a plastic type moisture covering and complete installation; so appx $4500-$6000 for the job.

If you budge full hardwood it is much more expensive; estimate around $80-$100 per square foot including installation.

You might consider laminate flooring which is available in an large amount of different wood patterns and styles. $15-$20 per sq ft including insulation and installation. Looks like wood and is glib to clean and argue, and is very durable if you attain a product that is treated near aluminum oxide for durability.
It can vary like mad. Based on type of wood, origin, whether you trademark the floor before, etc. I lately layed Brazilian Cherry for about $11 per sq. foot and that included large end wood, seal the floor and re-leveling low spots.
