im moving and i need ideas to decorate my room?

i want it to be a broadway theme and i have playbills to hang up but i need more ideas

Answers:
Dark colors like burgundy, gold accents and lots of dark textured fabric. Lots of pattern is also very broadway. How about paint the room an golden ochre color except for the wall that you want to hand the playbills on, and paint that wall a dark rich burgundy or navy. Dark heavily textured drapes in a dark color to match the dark color of paint you used. How about adding some broadway posters of stars or movies. Lighting will be important since the room will be fairly dark. Spotlighting or uplighting the art on the dark wall will look really good but make sure you have enough light in the rest of the room.

Other answers:
Maybe track lighting where the individual lights can be pointed different directions. Have them spotlight broadway items placed on the wall.

Hope this helps. :)

Calm colors of paint, and relaxing furniture.
How about framed sheet music from Broadway shows. To make them look aged soak in strong tea for a short while and let dry thoroughly. Another thought is a Directors chair for a vanity and have a large mirror with the light bar across the top. A last but not least a star on the door.. Have fun..
