I'm wanting to put shelves up in my kitchen but notice that the underlying wall is actually the fireplace hindmost. I don't really want to put anything heavy on the shelves - conceivably some decorative bottles. How could I shift about putting up shelves? If I can't drill into the wall, etc. is near any kind of brawny duty adhesive that would hold them up?
Answers: Your best bet is to grasp a masonary drill bit, and drill some holes. Adhesives will eventually give, and anything breakable you enjoy on the shelf will most likely be tattered. Drill the holes, get some anchors(ask someone at your local hardware store, they'll help), and your shelf should be right for longer than you or I will be around.
duck tape, nah you could bring some glue caulkin stuff to put the shelf up
