What do you use to make a painted concrete not slippery?

I am in the process of painting the concrete floor in my living room, after when i put the final gloss clear coat on , is there a product to add to the paint to prevent it from being too slippery?

Put some grit in the paint (I have heard that sand works).

Mix sand into the paint.
There are textured paint. You might want to consider adding sand.
I think I heard somewhere you can put sand in the paint, but don't quote me on that. Check with your local paint store.
SAND
Go to your hardware store and ask for some antislip...it is grains of sand that you sprinkle on after painting

Good Luck
Put sand in the paint
Paint stores sell crushed glass for this purpose.
You can put sand on the final coat but the sand can break loose over time and you will be constantly sweeping sand. Try putting it down before the final coat and after it dries appy a final coat to seal in the sand.
You're supposed to mix sand with the paint
DO NOT mix sand in it if you are using in your home,, the sand will break and scrape off causing you plenty cleaning,, there is a little bag of stuff you can buy to mix in the paint that will make it non-slippery,, i got mine at wal-mart and used it on my handicap deck!
mix silica sand with your paint
Lowes or Home DePot has painted already mixed and it works
