What is the best method used to clean up after sanding hardwood floors and before applying "polysealant"?

Have tried damp mop but it left a water stain and raised the grain. Vacuming doesn't get it all up and tac cloths are too small.

Answers:
Vacuum with a shop vac, however you will still have to clean up the fine stuff, I used a damp sponge and water, sponge mops leave too much moisture on the floor, it is a good old get down on your hands and knees job, but it will do the trick and it won't raise the grain of the wood, maybe you can get several friends to help so the project will go faster.

Other answers:
Use a mild cleanser that doesn't streak in lieu of water. I used a high-power vac w/ a special attachment that was pretty good and cleaned up the rest with lysol for wood floors and a swiffer.

You need a shop vac with lots of horsepower. That should do it.
A shop-vac is the way to go..it has ALOT more power than a house hold vaccum.
