I am looking for Green or Black windowpane drapes.. where on earth would I achieve them?

I am looking for drapes for my room because the South Florida sun in the morning is slaughter me!!! I ideally would like a funky lime green drapes, or any other hot color, but i can't find it.. lone sheer ones, but that won't block out the light. Or I want black, because I own a pastel green walls and I'm getting black furniture, I like the contrast. I just have 1 glass, and I checked Walmart and Target (in person and online) and I can't find anything.. does anyone know where on earth else to check?? (yes, i checked ebay)


Answers:    Most fabric draps are not gelatinous enough to prevent reading light from filtering through. Most of the time you requirement Blackout Curtains (white insulated curtains found at Walmart) or a window shade.

I would buy verbs curtains or cheap insulated curtains and hang your black or green curtains on a separate rod over it, similar to what you see in hotels.
Why don't you budge to a fabric store, and sort basic curtains for your window yourself? It's cheaper and it's not that difficult to sew curtains at all!
