Has anyone really used "Direct Buy" for their home improvements? Do you really save money?

Answers:
The problem with direct buy is that they want 4,000 dollars in the first two years in fees and 100 dollars a year for the next ten years. if you go to their orientation and can't pay the first payment of 370, which is the minimum, than you can't join. Ever. you probably do save money after a while, but there is to much tacked on to it. I was one who couldn't pay the 370.

From what I've researched I wouldn't get invoved with them. Find a reputable Interior Designer in your area and they can save you money, plus know the right places to obtain your furnishings. They buy at wholesale and mark up the merchandise. If your doing a lot they can discount for you.
I have had a membership for about 3 years now & have not bought 1 thing from them! When I joined, I was shown the big screen TV & cooking stove that I wanted to buy.... they showed me what a savings I could have if I purchased them through Direct Buy. Well.... guess what??? I joined & was ready to make the purchases about 1 month after buying the membership, the TV nor the stove could NOT be found in their cataloug.
