Bunkie board beside metal bed frame?

Currently I have a full size boxspring and a mattress sitting over a metal bed frame. I want to know if I would be able to attain rid of the boxspring and just use a bunkie board instead?? (my bed is not a bunkie bed, only just regular bed frame)

Can the bunkie board sit on the frame ok? or do I need to drill holes thru the board and screw the board into the frame? or etc etc? I a short time ago need to know if it's possible to use a bunkie board beside the metal bed frame or if not, what do I involve to do to make it work.

Answers:    O.K. here is what you obligation to do...like you read out drill and bolt, but it wouls have to be calorific wood........You can cut some slats, I'd say at lowest possible 4 and use the thinner board.......You need the support since it is a full size bed..Good Luck........
