How to remove ceiling plaster/texture?

We have white ceiling plaster. It is the sticky kind near a pattern contained by it. How do I go around removing this?


Answers:    you just hold to sand the ceiling.
i helped do it at my friends apartment. the texture is a moment ago foam. its messy and it takes a while. you may want to skim it later but thats how you do it.
Sorry...but your going to enjoy to scrape it rotten using a broad knife or scrapper....Be sure you use drop cloth on the floor to detain the mess...Then be prepared to re-finish with modern mud work, sand that, prime that & paint it...
