What color do you paint a closet door or the inside of a door in a bedroom?
Answers:
It's more traditional to use - esp. on a paneled door, which implies your house is traditional - the trim color, in enamel so it wipes fingerprints off more easily than the matte wall color. It gives the room a visual break and ties in with the windows.
Although it's your home and you want it to reflect you, do always consider resale. Funky combos are harder sells, andyou don't want to have to repaint over a color when you're trying to make other life moves.
When in doubt about these things, check home magazines or ads - I find I sometimes need to do this when I'm setting the table to remember which side the fork is supposed to go on~!

Maybe you could paint it a different color...just to add something to its look!

it's all up to you.
I have seen the inside of doors painted white with an accent of the room color around the edges of the panels, that looked good to me. Best wishes
I'd leave it natural.
Try a lighter shade than the color of the wall.
if you want them to blend with your room paint them the same color if you want them to stand out you can paint them the same color as your drapes or your accent color
I like white, and I, too, like the edges of the raised panels painted an accent color. I once inherited a bedroom with burnt orange walls and white doors (and couldn't afford to repaint). I painted the edges black and added lots of black and white accessories for a great Art Deco look.
I think you will notice that most doors are painted the same color as all the moldings and windows in any room.
The same color as the trim is the best way to go.
