Why is it called a "building" when its already built? (LOL) What would you build if you could?
Answers:
i have no idea, but if you find that out maybe you can tell me why you park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway.
my dream home would have lots of lighting, a huge kitchen, and a pool. lol ya know maybe i should just get a loft, but that would be a loss for the pool. i'd like to be near the ocean, i'd definetly want a fire place. things i would avoid.... hmmm nosy neighbors, yes i think i'd want a lot of property to avoid having people around. *sigh* if only i had money haha.

Same reason why a "painting" is a painting even after it's painted.
If I could, I would build a stairway to heaven!
i'd build a moated palace...!?
i love nature...i want my dream home to be up on a mountain...where flowers blooms with the sun ray's shining upon its petals, where there is no pollution, where i can clearly hear the wind sing its music, hear birds chirp, see those tall icy and cool icy mountain looking ai me...where i would have a big patch of land where i can call it my own and share with my love ones!wow! i can say a thing more!
I'd build an art studio with a cathedral ceiling, and skylights along the north side of the roof. There would be a loft at one end for guests to stay. I'd use post and beam construction, with the natural wood polished. Plaster walls and terra cotta tile floors. It would be built somewhere on a rocky coastline, overlooking a bay.
There would be several sets of French doors opening onto a stone-paved terrace, where patio furniture would be arranged. And perhaps a wine cellar in the basement....
For the same reason we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?
My dream home is an oversize log cabin with a two story tower on one corner with arrow slit windows and a wrap around porch. The tower would be a library. The bottom floor would have a great room (two stories high) in front, and dining room, kitchen, and mudroom/lavatory in back(one story). Above these would be the master bedroom suite and my sewing room. In the basement would be a theatre/TV room and game room. I would have 2 small cabin suites behind the main house for guests. And one a bit further out for my hubbies hideaway.
All this on a piece of land with lots of trees, away from the big city and if really lucky with a lake view.
