best ideas for an orange bedroom?

so, I painted it orange! WHY? because orange is the best colour in the world! And it makes me very VERY happy! Anyway, I'd like some accent colours. The carpet is a dark grey and right now the trim and ceiling is white. It's a fairly large room.
Mind you I don't like yellow, and I simply loooovee dim lights (lamps with dark shades)

I have A LOT of books in my room! and I mean A LOT! + the cds too! and I'm into crafts

Any suggestions? Hoew can I make my bedroom more vibrant?!

Answers:
First, go to the store you bought the paint and grab the color swatch you used to pick you paint color. Pick up a few others that you think will work well. This will help in picking out coordinating accents.

Keep your bed the focus. Get a comforter/quilt with shades of orange with matching pillow shams.

There are amber colored light bulbs. These help improve concentration and keep your room dim.

For window decor...go for a darker neural tone in your window coverings.

Find copper colored, or actual copper bookends, CD holder, etc at a Home Decor store like Pier 1 or Kirklands.

These are just some ideas, but they should get you started!

Dark greens are good to go with that. Have you been sleeping in it? I think I would need an insane asylum but whatever floats your boat..

orange is one of my favs to. My other two favs are purple & green . I like to mix the three.. And that makes me very VERY happy!
Ohhhhhh! I love orange to (but not as much as AmBer) I have been planning on redecorating my son room in orange..
Anyway my suggestion would be to use deep jewel toned blues and purples as the accents. Blue is opposite of orange on the color wheel so it will really POP. and the purple will bring the two colors together nicely
i also have an orange bed room.(hell my entire apartment is various shades of orange) in my bed room i have "orange blossom"( more of a sherbert type color) walls white ceiling and beige carpet. my drapes and bedding are a deep blue. almost navy. pinks look really good wiht orange too.
I would suggest taking a sample of your orange color and going to the local store that sells drapery materials. Find a floral print with your orange in it. The other colors will be complements to the orange or will harmonize with it.
