A color for my 7yr olds walls?
theme(racing,outdoors,firetruc... you can get stick on wall kits to use and it could encourage his imagination.

That or be really macabre and paint them black. Then paint silver starts on them maybe, with glow stickers on teh ceiling for an outside effect. This would be fun for a small kid, maybe getting him a nightlight that produces a starlab type thing as well. <!-- answer-to-other answer--><!-- answer-to-other answer end-->

Darker blue on the bottom and lighter blue above. <!-- next Other Answers start --><hr>lowes has a pooh series with a centered border ive painted this in several clients houses and the children pick the themes,, as the charactors are the key such as tigger ,,or do a split walls effect yourself, with a superman theme use the red up and the blue down ,with the belt as the gold border in the middle ,now frame a huge poster of superman on the wall with the least light, why to draw the eyes there , have fun and talk to the child ,,its gonna last 5 to 6 years as they get sporty then its teams ,and their colors,, ive been back to some houses to make the walls scarlett and black for green days teens <!-- next Other Answers start --><hr>Maybe do a wall scene in primary colors.But whatever you decide to do stick to primary or maybe muted or pastels.Maybe if he likes a certain theme paint the wall in that <span title=){kind=link}
a seven-year-old probably has his or her own ideas on what color would be most agreeable for the walls of his or her bedroom. you can always offer another choice if the child's choice is too awful, but let the kid make a decision--it's good practice for life.

Why not do 2-3 colours. You could "stripe" his room using the green, plus yellow, blue, and red in differing widths. Then put up pics of different things he likes. His bedding would still work in the room but it would have a different energy. Also consider a stripe at about chest-eye height of chalkboard paint. Then he can "change" his room any time he likes by erasing and re- drawing it.
