I am redecorating!?

I am a 14 yr. old girl... i love wild colors and patterns. I already bought a curtain fabric.. It is lime green, yellow, orange, and purpley-red colors in stripes. I am trying to figure out what color to paint the walls and how to make it more girly.. Any ideas? thanks

I did this to my room and I love it! Take all the colors in your curtains and paint each wall a different color. Or just paint your favorites. It really depends on how many walls you have etc. I have a ton of walls b/c half of my room is windows. My room is like a tower on a victorian style house. So I have a ton of colors and I love it. Just make sure what you do is something you are going to like. Plus try and make it change-able. I mean i'm 14 and change my room so many times. So make sure you can change it around if you ever want to. But make sure it is someting you really like. Good Luck!

take any of the colors in that pillow and match it to your wall coloring...

Personally I love Purple..it's very calming

but pick a color you can live with.

I THINK IT SHOULD BE BABY BLUE I LOVE IT, YOUR ROOM IS GONNA LOOK SO GOOD.LATER GURL.
I think you should pick the lightest color, I personally don't like a room that is painted too dark.
I agree with KeeKee...be sure to pick a color you like! Just know that the darker the color is, the smaller it will make your room appear. So if you already have a small room, I would suggest going with a light shade of which ever color you do choose. And don't be afraid to get creative! Stencil a pattern on the wall, or paint your walls different colors to match the stripes in your curtain. Have fun with it. Worst case scenario...paint over it!
The way I do a room is to choose a piece of artwork (painting or print) that I love and then borrow colors from it. So pick a picture with most or all of the colors you are using in the curtains, then use one of the colors for at least two of your walls. Personally, I love "accent" walls, where one or two are done in a stand-out color and the others are more neutral. Hope this helps! Good for you for caring about how your own room looks! You'll have a great looking home one day!
Lavender! It's girly and it'll bring out all the wild colors in your fabric.

There are many different shades of lavender... have fun!
