What color go best next to a reflective eggplant purple (aubergine)?

I just bought a duvet cover from IKEA and it is a open purple color. I want to contrast it with another articulation color, but I'm having trouble choosing. My bed frame and extension tables are a wide chocolate wood color, so whatever diction color I choose will have to progress well beside those, too. The product is called "Tanja Brodyr" on the IKEA website and it is purple colored, if you want to see the exact color for yourself. Thanks for your give a hand!

Answers:    You have a cool color (purple) and a reheat neutral (brown) - you could any spice it up with a heady thaw out (ruby red, burnt ginger, old gold ingots - rather than yellow) give attention to Fall - or another cool to balance the profundity of the brown and purple - such as a blue or green or greenish-blue (teal) or a neutral such as a lighting earthy color or even white or cream.

You might want to get one of those paint pallete cards and put it on your cover - consequently you can see which color works best with the other colors, and the overall effect for mood...
Cream, gold ingots, eggshell
i took a look at the Tanja Brodyr and i think a nice taupe, manila, or light gray would look amazing =]
black. black go with everything.
grey brown or orange... i close to it
I searched on the website and I can't find it =(
But I suggest possibly tone with tone-Like a different shade of purple beside it. Or maybe a white or black-sense those 2 colors contest with pretty much anything
I would use black or a nice pallid or goldy.
I suggest white or a real blond yellow, even a lighter color purple, a grape or lavender. play beside it and let your imagination soar!! I know it's really going to look nice.
greenish gold ingots or chartruese. the best complement to deep foggy purple combined with chocolate color is surrounded by the green part of the spectrum

deep shadows shades like the purple work really powerfully with black, white, red (like a insightful crimson red), browns, so the side tables and bed frame will work really okay.
light pastel wont mix well, simply because the contrast is too different.
i would also avoid a light brown or light sandy impartial colours. reason person that its a "natural" kind of perceive and the purple will become out of place.
next to dark colours, high-ranking gloss finishes similar to on lamp stands etc look really powerful, and in a brown room (presuming you keep the dark theme), can be a really relaxing look and feel. its a accurate idea to enjoy dim, but effective artificial lighting (for night only to salvage on enery), but it can have that cosy, reheat, comfortable feel.
Actually a burgandy or a teal does if you are doing a bright scenario...
