what is a good color sofa for a brownish wall?

Answers:
You have to look at the undertones of the brown paint on the wall. If they are warm undertones (reddish brown or orangish brown) then look for a sofa in cream or rust. If the undertones are cool (grey brown) then try a sofa in pure black or white.

browns and creams go great together. I have a brown sofa with creamy neatral wallpaper. Also splashes of red are nice feautures like vases, lamps etc.
any thing tan or even deep blue
My vote is for Hunter green too... It's a great color that goes well with brown, tan, and really goes well with raspberry. I love my hunter green couch, it also hides dirt well...
green ,purple or blue dpending on the hue of the brown
beige, tan, cream, burnt orange, camel brown, chocolate brown, or a rich coffee colour
I have always firmly believed that this is a little backwards. It's easy to paint a wall, not so easy to change the colour of a sofa.

That aside, we don't know your floor colour, or any other colours in your room, we also don't know if it's a red brown, or a beige brown.

But warm beige is always a good choice, if you want to go more daring, you could do variations on orange - that looks really good with beige brown. A medium pale blue is a personal favourite of mine for beige browns. Sage is also a great colour.
ORANGE, RED, LIGHT BLUE, a color that is bright and is attractive against your brownish wall. This will make ya house look good.
Not knowing the exact color of brown your walls are, what your floor coloring is, or your other furnishing, I would have to say a taupe or beige color.
A burgundy or dark jewel tone blue might be nice too.

It's Just My Opinion ;-}
somethin light
