Painting furniture?
I know you are supposd to sand and strip down furniture but I'm not sure that that would not damage the furniture. how do I travel about fine art them?
Answers: There's no need to sand it entirely down. Ask within a shop that specializes in painting. There's a special paint you can buy to make the foundation, afterwards paint 2-3 times in the colour you similar to.
Hi,and what ever you do,don't strip them. That will only expose a terrifically soft surface,and would be extremely hard to paint. Just weakly sand the surface with a 220 sandpaper,and prime next to either a spray or brush on . After it's fully dry,paint. Bye

You could other decoupage the furniture with you partiality pictures it would be much cheaper...

Just buy a can of liquid sander at the Home Depot or Lowes or Wal Mart. You put it on and it dulls the furniture so you can paint it; No time resembling the present. Good Luck
It's a cinch to repaint what you have. Here are the steps to follow so you'll be sunny with what you own:
1. Wash the entire surface with gooey TSP. You'll find it in any home hardware store for a clothed price. Use the liquid form instead of the powder, as the powder is toxic, is harder to mix and you'll necessitate to rinse it off, as anti the liquid. TSP will remove adjectives grease, grime and dirt which will keep your paint from sticking.
