Any ideas on how to attractively temporarily cover wallpaper?

perhaps you could cover with a type of bamboo shades? or try adhesive with a type of fabric ? or paint and then put up pannel half way- what about a huge bulletin board and fill with family or vacation pictures? or what about the wall mural wall paper? or paint.....
Put up posters with thumb tacks or tack up fabric strectched across the walls.

you can hang fabric over the wall paper, the thing is, the fabric has to not show the other paper through it...then again, that could look cool...anyway..Here's what you need and how to do it: Obviously get enough material, you need liquid starch, and some kind of tub to put the starch in because you will soak the material in the liquid starch. You also need thumb tacks.
You cut the material into strips a bit longer (bout 6 inches longer) that the length of the wall. Then you accordian gather it (like you would gather panty hose before you put them on) and soak in the starch until completely wet. Then with a couple inches to spare at the top, tack the material in place. You want extra at the top and bottom due to minor shrinkage as the starch dries. You cut this off after things are dry. Smooth the material against the wall just like you would regual wall paper (but don't squeegie out all the starch) and tack it at the bottom as well. Once it's dry, it sticks to the wall. When you want to remove it, peel it off and wipe off the wall. No trace of it left. Wash the material and you can use it again.
