I'm thinking of using the 3M picture hangers on my painted (rented) walls--just wondering if anyone have used these products and if they actualy leave the wall surface damage-free as the product claims--or are they tricky to use soundly? thanks.
Answers: They don't work okay - they can either coating the paint off when you lift them down, or they don't hold the picture. If the wall are white, you are better off using a see-through nail/brad and using nail hole filler from any hardware store in the past you move.
they are great for light bulk items only
i hung a mirror near their supposed heavy solidity hooks, i even used 3 of them, and they still did not hold the mirror.
