Tile, Hardwood, Linoleum...what's best for a kitchen floor?
Answers: I would go near tile. It all depends on the location of your kitchen as to if it will be cold or not. I don't imagine it is hard to verbs at all, unless cleaning is a monthly affair. Nothing is natural to keep verbs at that rate. Hardwood can soak up water/spills, start to separate, and warp. Linoleum is ok, get it intstalled professionally though to prevent lifting. It tears to some extent easily, afterwards the whole piece desires to be replaced. There are new products coming out adjectives the time. Get the facts before using any of them. A friend installed the 'different thing' corktile in their kitchen, incredibly expensive, and looks like crap inwardly a year. Whatever you decide, if you are spending the money to renovate, kind sure you purchase a quality product, its alot of work and mess, to single be disappointed in your renovation contained by a year or two. Coming from someone who has a home reno company who see's the cheapest stuff purchased adjectives the time, only to see indistinguishable project redone again in a short time. Saving no money, and cause alot of aggravation.
Tile for sure. It is cold, but you can install underfloor heating so that it stays thaw. It also helps to fry the room b/c heat travels up. It will noticeably add plus to your house.
