I have an emotional eating problem. How can I stop this habit and getting back to normal size ?
Answers:
Talk to your doctor you may be depressed from the stress of having the baby. Also consult a dietitian so they can guide you down the path about the foods you should be eating. Get someone to watch the baby twice a week for 1-2 hours so you can go to a exercise class, walking, hanging out with your Friends, take a creative class so you from a hobby. Also when feeling stressed or extremely emotional food is not the only thing out there you could listen to calming music, write in a journal/diary, talking to a close Friend etc. Food now may what gets you through tough times now but it doesn't have to be that way!
Other answers:
Is it an over eating thing or an under eating thing?
Is it an over eating thing or an under eating thing?
Focus on the underlying feelings and not the food
Why are you eating? Is it for comfort?
Think about how you can be kind to yourself and comfort yourself without doing something which leaves you feeling worse?
Counselling will help if you can afford it - a good counsellor will help you undercover why you feel this way and help you build a plan to move beyond it
Good luck
Ice chips. nibble on chips of ice instead of potatoe chips. Invest your money on fruits instead of bags of chips n dip.
It will take you about 6 months to lose all that baby fat so dont go hating yourself. You look great!
First, get a doctor. And your closest, best friend/family member. Always someone to guide you. Other than that, it's really just a force of will. You eat and practice eating right. It's a continual process, and having a hand to hold and a professional guide to lead the way will make it that much easier.
Willpower will help you. Take your baby for a walk in his/her pram - you will both enjoy it. Only buy healthy food, it is so much cheaper.
Truly no offense meant but the question asked in this category seems odd.
On a lighter note you may try, "lots" of decorating and remodeling of your dwelling, which this category deals with.
Actually it could serve mutiple purposes,,,OOOO I like me,,,smiles
The exercise, and the effort could help you lose weight, and/or the distraction of doing so may alter eating habits?
The benefits would be multiple. You could in fact lose the weight you don't want, AND end up with a dedecorated house?

Since this is under decorating and remodeling, I'm going to suggest a therapeutic craft project. If you're doing things, you won't be eating. Take the baby out for a walk around different stores to get inspirations, head to the library to research techniques. The more you do, the better you'll feel. Invite friends to come with you.
