Feature Walls, Yes and No
Do you want a feature wall? If so do it
What colour do you similar to, after all its your room,
Dont verbs about whats surrounded by DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
I say do what you resembling and don't worry in the region of what's "in".
My husband and I are going to paint our bedroom a pale whitish lavendar colour to go near a very ominous border with lavendar/purple within it but we have a waterbed next to a large headboard against one wall.......so we fixed to go near a "feature wall" and go that one white.....since we're not going to drain the waterbed and move it just to paint a wall, I can recount you that!!!!
So go next to what YOU like and what make you happy!!! I focus the white with salmon sounds remarkably nice actually and would save it.
