How can you make a canopy? I have the fabric and basic idea how to make it?

How does it go around the bed i have the basic four but how does it hand in the middle?

I made one for my bed with a rectangle connecting the four posters and 2rectangle panels falling off each side. For the middle I actually put a hook in my ceiling to hang the center rectangle from.

I made one and it was very easy, here are the instructions:

The one of those sewing circular hoops, unscrew them and tie four peices of ribbon around one of the circular things. Then at the top of the ribbons tie them together. Them one the other circular part lay you fabric (i prefer tulle) and screw it closed.
